I am also a big Boardgame fan so I was wondering if anyone had any collecting dust in their closet that they would like to get rid of? Some titles I want are:
Conquest of The Empire(Milton Bradley Gamemaster series)
BattleCry Avalon Hill
StarWars Ep1 queens Gambit Avalon Hill
Dark Towers Milton Bradley
Supremacy Expansion sets
Post or PM me what you have. I can buy or trade games for them. I am not interested in older Avalon Hill wargames with cardboard pieces. I am not interested in Monopoly or anythng like that either. Thanx for looking :D

Give dave2236 a PM, he sells board games on ebay and also collects some as well. He might be able to help you out.

Already looked over his list. Don't have much for AH games. Good games, I have Jutland, 1914, and History of the World but those are for me :-D

I actually just got done auctioning off 100 board games, if you want check out my sellers list here

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcISAPICommand=ViewListedItems&userid=dave2236&include=0&since=30&sort=3&rows=0

If you see any games you want that didn't get bids, they're yours for free, just pay me for shipping. That goes for anyone else if they want some free board games.

I will indeed take VG in trade. Didn't set a price on it at all really, so name one if I can't find something.

EDIT: Hmmm... I notice games I'd want, but I think that asking for them would be lowballing you. Like Shining force GG and Rainbow Islands SMS. is there anythign else you're looking for?

Not really, Its tough to find people to play with. I do play Axis and Allies quite a bit both online and off-line

I just bought them because I like war stuff. Especially WWII related items. Kind of an Interest/Hobby of mine. I'm going to school to be a mechanic and I really, really want to restore some old military vehicles. I for sure will own a Willy's Jeep and probably loan it out to be used in parades and such....I also want to find a APC (Armored Personel Carrier) and restore one of those to use in a parade.

BUT if anyone is up for a game of axis and allies, let me know

Bighab - sort of, I have a list going on at the bottom of the 2nd page of the have/wants thread but it's dreadfully out of date. Let me get that updated. which systems do you collect for, perhaps I can make a short form just for you.

Anyone here play or collect games like The Settlers of Catan (Die Siedler von Catan), Carcassonne, and...well some others but I can't remember the English titles of them. I'm going to have to check out those lists of board games though maybe there's something in there to rival Settlers (maybe).

Anyone up for a game of Axis and Allies this weekend?

Do you have to have a full version of Axis and allies or will a CDR work to play someone online? Can I play you wiht my Iron Blitz? I find Iron Blitz better since I can beef up the computers forces to make the game more challanging.

I think a cdr Copy should work fine, I have an original but I don't see why a backup wouldn't work.

I have not played iron Blitz, I can't find a copy anywhere and I don't want to pay $80 for a copy off of ebay. I just paid $77 for a copy of DVDXCopy for my PC today....man software is expensive.

If I find a copy of Iron Blitz, I'll for sure play you

Hi fellow boardgamers. I have the follow games available for trade/sale:

Avalon - http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/6187

Hector & Achilles - http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8450

Lord of the Fries (color special edition) - http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/1536

I'm not interested in wargames but will consider others (I need my own copy of Puerto Rico, and want to try more Kosmos 2-player games for example). If you know anyone interested in these games let me know.

Also, that game trading zone looks like an interesting site. I'd be happy to register there, and am already registered on the Geek (although am unrated), for rating purposes.

Thanks.

Don't you just love it when that happens :)

Oh yeah, to answer your question from back then...

I heard Settlers of Catan was good. Isn't there a Space based Catan title too?

Yes, Spacefarers of Cataan.

$60, 4 players max, cool pieces (although one of my rockets broke the very first time I used it)...game's a bit weak I feel, compared to Settlers...I should know, I bought it the day it premiered and have played it once.

There is a $30 expansion to allow 5-6 players...but I don't know if I want to make the expenditure or not.
