Here's the backstory; My original Xbox is model 1.0. It has a fan + GPU heatsink rather than a fanless one like all versions after that. I saw an Xbox tonight at my local thrift store and thought that maybe if it's a newer model than mine, I can take out the heatsink and replace mine. This brings me to my question, how can I tell which model it is by the serial number? Any help will be much appreciated, thanks!
