Looking for a video game repair kit. I took a look at Amazon, and wasn't too impressed. I will be opening up a game gear. Also will be opening a SNES to get out some loose change. Oh and a DS lite that needs a new board.

I am just getting in to this and give my thanks in advance to the digit press hive mind.

All you really need is about 3 different screw drivers, can get um all off ebay for dirt cheap...

Yeah, for 90% of stuf you'll probably just need:
1) A triwing
2) A 3.8 Gamebit
3) A 4.5 Gamebit
4) A decent set of flathead/phillips screwdrivers in multiple sizes

Optional would be
5) A set of Torx bits/wrenches

Anyone please correct if I'm missing something relevant!

Well there is also a special screwdriver that opens the security screws on a 360 controller its pretty much a special sized torx with a hole drilled in it... there's also 2 really odd screwdrivers that are needed to open up older power adapters... but these 2 I dont think many people will need... besides myself and a hand full of others... (us refurbers like to get into every little thing)... but these 3 you can do without, this is the last 10%

I think I got my little tool kit from The Electric Quarter off ebay for $15-20 but the 3.8 and 4.5 mm bits were crappy so I bought those extra from someone else.

I've purchased Gamebit and security Torx drivers from http://www.newelectronx.com/ and have been very satisfied. This kit will give you pretty much anything you'll ever need: http://www.newelectronx.com/proddetail.php?prod=security-screwdriver-bit-set-100, just select the option to add the Gamebits.
