Only that, maybe via eBAY or other internet services, or maybe in a travel, what are the best products you carried, put the country and the price, and, if you want...a pic :D

so far it would be the multicart from brazil w/ bobby's going home on it, i got from ebay for under $10.

i would however like to top that with some sweet SMS games, if anybody wants to trade.

Well I recently bought Fire&Ice, Monica's Gang to the rescue, Woody Woodpecker, Outrun 3D, and Superman for SMS from Brazil, but it'll be another week or 2 before they arrive.

Only thing I ever got were some pirate Famicom carts from an Ebay seller in Brazil. They were cheap and that's about the best thing I can say about them.

Bananas !

Nah.....just kidding.

I never buy any gaming stuff from south america but SLYDC found a very cool Atari 2600 clone not list anywhere, not in DP or AA : the Applevision.

I got the Portuguese version of Phantasy star 1, 2, 3, 4 from SA.

Also, I find unlisted 2600 carts all the time...and inform the DP staff promptly, of course.

The REAL problem with South American stuff is; there's no way of putting rarity to any of that stuff without actually living and actively collecting there for several years. And without known rarity, pricing things is quite difficult. Someone might pay $200, where as someone would pay $20, and neither of them truly know if they got a good deal.

Well, I was in Bolivia for two months and I don't think I saw a single video game the whole time. Mind you, I wasn't really collecting then so I wasn't looking out for them.

But I did bring back a whole box full of 'Golpe' chocolate bars, because they were absolutely fantastic!! And I also brought back two extremely cool wooden snakes that move very convincingly and have scared many many people :D

Good point, that´s the reason why i´m planning to do a rarity guide for any console which have a lot of stuff in SA, for example, the SMS, but i don´t know how much time will cost me...it´s a difficult project

I picked up DukeNukem 3D for the Megadrive. I am trying to get the 10in1 Megadrive cart from Tec-Toy now.

Bolivia it´s not a good country for VG, only Argentina and Brazil for that kind of business...

I got the PAL version of Shenmue II for Dreamcast from a seller in Brazil. After the currency conversion, I paid about $22.00 US. This was right after it was released, too.

I've gotten stuff for two systems from South America (Brazil, specifically)...

SMS stuff and NES stuff. All the SMS stuff works, all the NES stuff doesn't. Go figure.
