I'm not a big Nintendo collector (other than DS), but i'd thought i'd bring to light something you guys might find interesting.

If you're wondering if it's worth the $35 the seller is asking for it, I would say no. I'm fairly certain it's not a first party accessory and it's just an item that has official licensing. Cheapskate mentality aside, I wouldn't give more than $5 for it, $10 at the absolute most if it was in minty mint condition.

Yeah there were plenty of these stands made back then... its got some yellowing, and just looks stright up dirty... just cuz the seller says its rare pretty much means its prob not....

Yeah i figured as much, it doesn't even look like it's very practical. Just thought I'd check before i passed it up

Those are official, I'm pretty sure, but it's missing the dust cover. It's worth $40ish, with the cover. Not worth getting at his price, but it is actually kinda rare.

Tell him you'll give him a yellow Snes and a couple sports games in trade for it.

With the dust cover and not beat up, minimum of $40.

I actually used to have one of those exact units when I was a kid.
I also think it was an official licensed accessory.
Can't remember what happened to it, whether my parents donated it to Goodwill or if someone just stole mine when they stole all my games.
Either way, I don't think I kept the dust cover, though.
