For what it's worth, it's better than Action Max, technologically speaking anyway. It actually loads games that display over-top of the prerecorded VHS segments.

I was suprised to know that Cinemaware did the games for it. There are a couple YouTube vids showing the game play.

I own the whole set and boxed system. Something to collect and to never play. An odd duck indeed.

Yep. Costco actually sold the system and a couple of extra tapes attached to the side of the box in most locations when it was released. As such, you will find them all the time at swap meets and garage sales wherever there are Costcos. They also pop up on Ebay all the time, often NOS. Unfortunately, they are worth next to nothing. I don't think I have ever seen one sell for over $25 NOS and that was a few years ago when people actually still had VCRs in their homes.
