View Full Version : Need Help Finding Replacement Game Boy Speakers
I recently bought a Game Boy Pocket off Ebay, but upon receiving it, the speaker doesn't work. I've already torn it down and cleaned it up, and there is audio coming through the headphone jack so I know it must be the speaker. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement speaker? The only speakers I can find are for the GBA SP which I dont believe work for GB/GBP/GBC. Short of salvaging a speaker from another GB, I don't know what my options are. Does anyone have experience with this?

I have a Gameboy Color that the speaker doesn't work and can't find a replacement except ordering from China. Leary of that. The only thing I found is rarely something will pop up on ebay. Just make sure the wattage is the same or they either have very low volume or the speaker will blow out.

Check flea markets. I get the old game boys for around $5.

Hate to butcher a working system and can't find any broken ones in my area. Wish there was a place to get the speakers from. Does anyone have any Gameboy Color speakers that work? PM me if you do, thanks.

I randomly have extras to sell. I have several other people on waiting lists for each one, and they are sold on a first-come, first-served basis on eBay. If interested, shoot a PM with your e-mail and the model of Game Boy you need a speaker for, and you'll be notified next time I list one.

Are these working or non working, is what I'm looking for to get the speaker.
Or does anyone know the speaker power rating? Or where to get? Thanks!
