Bought this the other week from Value Village for $14.99.
Came with the original box and all documents.
Did I waste $15, or is this a sought-after item?

That isn't bad for what it is, postage to buy one anywhere online would cost more. These computers aren't worth much nonetheless.

Its definitely worth the $15 that you paid for it since it's a cool little retro computer and its looks to be in great shape, just not if you were looking to profit from it.

A complete one is worth about $20 if you can find someone who wants it. I sold a boxed one with a loose one for $20 total years ago, I was happy to get rid of it so I priced them well and I don't plan on ever picking up another one.

Thank you for your input guys. Nope, I wasnt planning on profiting from it (but I did think it was worth something). I guess now its tradebait, but I doubt I'd find someone who wants it. Oh well. :(

I had picked up a CIB one of these with a bunch of software (non gaming software) last year or so for $10 but sadly it didn't work. Completely dead, don't know if it was the PSU or something else and I didn't have time to try to fix it up but some of the stuff like a joystick adapter and some other accessories got me some decent cash on ebay.

Pretty much what the others said. I have one stored away and it's fun to play with every once in a while. Some TI items can be expensive but this isn't one of them. Still, you got a good deal on it and it's nice to save a piece of computer history from the hell of retail outlets.
