Someone from Ontario won an auction I setup late last month. He payed with an e-check on the 31st of January and it finally cleared on the 7th of this month. Got the game packed-up and shipped by Priority Mail the next day. 12 days later, and the tracking number still reports last activity as the 8th. Entering the number on Canada's post site yields no results either. Is this normal, or did the package get lost in USPS limbo? You'd think Priority would get it there faster, but I guess that's not the case.
Here's the tracking number: LJ640691950US

Could be lost, or held in customs.

Was it sent Priority flat rate envelope? Because that's the same thing a flat rate envelope will show, that it was received then nothing else because it has no DC or tracking according to the USPS site.
Also, Priority mail is slow to Canada, every time I send a package over there it takes at least 2 weeks.

Yeah, it can be slow, 3-4 weeks is common.

Flat-rate box to be specific. Thanks for your replies, guys! I'll wait it out a while longer.

Your pretty close to me and the last flat rate box I shipped to Canada took about 20 days. I sent it flat rate registered mail (for security) and it cost about $25 to ship (the thing sold for $600). From what I remember from the ordeal is the flat rate boxes from the PO didn’t have an international tracking option (if you use your own box and get priority it does have tracking) it has a customs number and doesn’t track, it only scans when it’s through customs but the PO can track it, they may not like you for making them do it but they can. I remember going in every day at lunch and asking about the package after the person that won started to send complaint emails and I would go home and send him updates.

•Tracking to major destinations. Note: Tracking is not available for the Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes or the Small Flat Rate Priced Boxes.
Hu, looks like the policy has changed from when I shipped to Canada it was all flat-rate didn’t have tracking but I still don’t understand why some flat rate don’t track but all priority (with your own packaging) does.
So I guess if it was any flat rate box but small you do have tracking.

That's odd, but reassuring. Thanks for taking the time to let me know. :)

The buyer just left feedback, so I assume he got the package. Putting in the tracking number still yields no results. :/
