I bought one of these recently, and have been testing it out on my AV Famicom. The majority of the NES games I've tried have worked; however, the following games won't (and this is after multiple cleanings of the converter, the games and the console):

Castlevania III (I knew about this one in advance, no big deal since I have Akumajo Densetsu)
The Guardian Legend
Super Dodge Ball
Godzilla
Double Dragon II
Guerrilla War
P.O.W.
Paperboy
The Adventures of Dino Riki

Does anyone know of a compatibility list for these adaptors? I've searched, but have yet to find one.

Must be a Yobo thing. I have a generic adapter that plays Dino Ricky and Double Dragon II fine but not Sky Shark

The main problem with the Yobo adapter is that it's laid out incorrectly. You can fix those compatibility issues by cutting some traces and wiring up some jumper wires. I forget what exactly you're supposed to do but I'm sure you can find the procedure floating around.

Thanks for the info, guys. I'm not sure how good a job I'd do of rewiring my converter, so I may skip that procedure. However, does anyone know of a converter that has no known compatibility issues?

I've had some of those cheap ones that are basically circuit boards and the 72 pin connector and I don't remember having issues with them...

They look like this:

I bought a bulk of them some time ago and I think I still have some if you want something cheap to try...
