Hey everyone,

I need your guys' expert opinions. I'm possibly looking to sell my Turbo Duo system (great/in working condition, one controller, hookups, but no box or instructions), but have been out of the gaming loop for a few years, and thus have no idea what a system like this is going for nowadays. Fully aware of the state of the economy, emulation, etc., I'm simply looking for an honest appraisal of what this might be worth. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You should post a few pics - also, have you ever had any modding work done to it? ever replaced the caps in it?

Too many variables, anywhere $200-500 depending on what has been done to it and who wants it.

No mods or replacements have been done to this system. It's all original.

Having the caps replaced by someone with experience actually increases the value substantially. NEC used garbage caps in their hardware and it leads to audio issues. Does your duo have any trouble playing cd audio?

Around $200-$250 shipped would be practical if in good enough condition. I don't generally suggest buyers spend above that. Since a similar region mod + video mod Japanese setup offers more features at under $300.

Gotcha. Did not know that. I fired up Lords of Thunder and it sounded awesome to me, same with Ys. Also fired up the new Stone Temple Pilots CD to be sure and it's playing fine through both speakers. So there are no audio issues that I know of.
