Share a Ride From Reno? / Share Hotel Room?

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone's going to the Expo from Reno, Nevada (or nearby) as I'm happy to share the gas and driving as Southwest's flights have already escalated in price from Reno to Vegas.

My schedule is flexible so please contact me if this sounds like a good idea. I'm also looking to split a hotel room so let me know if anyone's interested.

So what's the score, you moved again or just currently working in Reno?

This is the latest in a long, protracted series of mini-moves away from pricey Switzerland, but I'm here for the forseeable future with Emily and Christos.

Thrift store trawling aside, my time is currently spent babysitting and looking for a job while I wait for my immigration paperwork to come through.

I only got here a week ago so it's all very new and shiny to me, and my plan is to make it down to Vegas to see what the Expo is all about and to make some good connexions for my C64 cart project which I'd like to debut there next summer...

Probably best to speak to the guy who runs the 64HDD project (Nick Coplin) as he has put together a few 1MB C64 multicarts recently (one of them for myself) and could probably help you a lot along the way :)
