Went to Dave and Buster's recently and to my surprise there was a new Pac-Man. Pac-Man Battle Royale is a four person competitive Pac-man. Enjoyable for sure. If you are a fan of Pac-man and have a change give it a try.

It's also available for free on iOS with the caveat that it requires actual human competitors, there is no computer AI.

If you have an iPad it can be played with other iOS devices (iTouch/iPhone) as controllers. Or all four players can situation themselves over the iPad with an onscreen virtual joystick in their quadrant.

Fun stuff. I'd love to play it on actual arcade hardware.

I played this at Ground Control in Portland, Oregon. It was pretty cool but I didn't have anybody to play it with at the time. Awesome concept. It'd be a great cocktail cab to have in your home.

Wow! This looks great. I will have to check out the only standing arcade left in my city to see if they have this.

I played this at the Cleveland D&B location a couple months ago when the power up girl was there. The winner of the match received a pacman necklace. Of course I had to get all the colors :). Fun game, but rounds can be short.

I played this probably around a year or so ago at a bar. My friend and I thought it was kind of stupid. The games were over very quickly. Perhaps it'd be better with more than 2 people, but it was so straight forward from what I recall that there wasn't much room for strategy.

That is actually going to change soon with a new update. Not sure when it is rolling out but a Namco guy tweeted about it not long ago. I have the machine and I've seen a lot of initial play but not too many occasions of repeat play. Hopefully the update will improve on that

So you all play on one IPAD? My wife has three IPADs for work(teacher), can three of us all use a different IPAD to play? If so, my wife is gonna bring home the IPADs this weekend.

Sorry, missed your response.

Yes, you can link up multiple iOS devices -OR- all play on one iPad (each player gets a joystick in each corner).
