My sources are reporting that Gamestop will be "doing away" with all NES and Genesis titles sometime in the fall. Weather this means blowing them out at sale prices -- or more likely towing them all to a remote location for a huge bonfire remains to be seen. (Of course my sources also like to drink lots of beer and continue to see "aliens among us" so....)

Funny you bring this up, I just saw an old friend who happens tro be the manager of the 2 appletons stores in my area.....anyways he said they just got 100 lot of NES games traded in and a 40 game lot traded in in the last couple of days. He let me look through them and they were usual gamestop prices, so I didn't get any...BUT he said they would keep carrying NES stuff indefinately because it has such a high markup and they can still get good prices for rarer games. They also have newer price lists that pay out more for Boxed NES games, like mega man series, castelvania, ninja gaiden, final fantasy, dragon warrior, ect
He's pretty reliable and a awesome at getting me promo stuff
