Did the 32X have it's own AC Adapter? If so, do any universal adapters work with it?

Did the 32X have it's own video output? I didn't think it did, but just checking.

I just recently got a 32X so I can say that it uses it's own adapter. But it's the same type that the Genesis 2 and the CD uses.

And it requires it's own video cable to connect to the Genesis. The Genesis is then connected to the TV like normal.

So it has a cable that plugs into the genesis? Where does it plug into?

There's a little A/V cable that goes from the output on the Genesis to an input on the 32x. From there, a set of A/V cables are connected from the output on the 32x to the inputs on your television.

It's not the most efficent design, I'll grant you that much. :D

But it's not the worst out there I've seen, either. ;)

Yeah, mix a Genesis, 32X, Sega CD, and Sega Channel adapter, and you've got 4 big transformer block power supplies, video routed from the Genesis to 32X out to the TV, audio from the Sega CD, coaxial cable going into the Sega Channel adapter... I seem to recall I did that before, but it might have been without the Sega CD. I'm not sure if I had gotten one yet. Come to think of it, I can't remember where/when I got my Sega CD...

MY SEGA 32X/Genesis 2/SEGA CD 2 is quite a sight with my Megadrive converter honeybee sticking out of the top, or my Sonic and Knuckles Lock On cart with Sonic 2 in it.....

Gotta make sure the ceiling fan is turned off first. LOL

So what's the most nonrepeating hardware we could stick together?

Genesis
Sega CD
32X
Game Genie
XBand Modem
Power Base Converter
3D Glasses
Pro Action Replay
SMS cartridge

Am I leaving anything out? I suppose you could add a Sonic and Knuckles, but without it, it still has a very slim chance of actually working. Heh.

I'm writing this with full knowledge that it sounds sarcastic, but I'm genuinely curious since I can't think of anything off the top of my head except for maybe a Turbografx/CD. What other systems have an excessive amount of cabling?

Actually, I WAS thinking a TG 16 with the CD and other add on's for it. :-D
