We get it -- there are plenty of games out there these days, and maybe with all of the chaos at the end of last year, the great Rayman Origins (http://joystiq.com/game/rayman-origins) slipped through your fingers. Maybe this underrated Ubisoft gem didn't quite make your cut. Yes, it made money (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/15/rayman-origins-is-actually-profitable-for-ubisoft/), but not nearly enough people appreciated the beauty of Rayman's hand-drawn return.
If that's the case, then it's time to fix that little omission. Steam is releasing (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/01/26/rayman-origins-coming-to-pc-march-29-retail-versions-drm-free/) Rayman Origins on March 29, and there's now a demo available for the low price of completely free. You can also note that Steam preorders will also get a copy of Rayman 2: The Great Escape, so there's yet another reason to get you some of that "goofy, heart-swelling joy."
