The next SSB will be released for Wii U and 3DS. There will be some sort of connectivity between the two versions. Development has started according to Masahiro Sakurai. Discuss.

1. It's the Super Smash Bros. logo.

2. I didn't think of linking to the SSB website.

3. It's the first one I found.

It will be replaced with a smaller pic and be linked to Smash Bros Dojo.

EDIT: Okay, I don't know how you put links in pictures, so you now have a smaller yet equally stupid picture :)

I just made this thread for when there is more information released. Perhaps I made it a little too early.

I remember that Sakurai wanted a Capcom character in the next game.

There is also the fact that it could use the new features of the Wii U controller and the 3DS, like the cameras. Maybe a Face Raiders stage?

I like it when Zangief grabs Sonic by his mangy meth-addled hide and slams him to death on a happy Pokemon blimp or whatever.

According to Wikipedia, the next SSB game will be developed by Namco Bandai and Sora. Sakurai also intends to bring back some older Nintendo characters.

Mega Man already has an arsenal of moves so he wouldn't be a hard character to add in. Nintendo added Sonic so it isn't that much of a stretch. And a strange character but enjoyable all the same would be Pac-Man! For his finisher he could turn into a giant 8-Bit Pac-Man and everyone would flash blue and would get eaten or launched when touched. A cool thought.
