I just picked up what looks like an official atari 2600 trak ball controller, it is half black and half cream colored, and the ball is cream colored as well... However the model number on the back says CX-22.. I couldnt find it in the DP book, the Trak-ball listed in the DP guide is CX-80.... Any thoughts?

Also, how does the controller work? it seems to make an object on the screen "bounce around" a lot.... is there any way to calibrate it? are there only certain games it works with??

Check the side for a sliding switch that says "T"(rackball) & "J"(oystick). Most games use "J" mode. AFAIK the only games that use "T" are Atari 400/800 Missile Command & a homebrew 2600 version.

Just about every home version of games that used a trackball will use it (Centipede, Millipede) tho some work better. Crystal Castles is almost un"bear"able (HA!) Also, Games like Space Invaders, Demon Attack etc where you move L & R are fine too.
