I've been trying to find some reviews on this game, but can't find much info about it online. It looks real interesting and unique. You are a newspaper report on the scene of various disasters (fires, earthquakes, ect) and you must try to escape and/or rescue stranded people. Can anyone here who's played it give brief testimonial? Is it as fun as it looks and worth picking up? Anyone have a copy for sale/trade?

Thanks for the tip Starcade, but let me rephrase my original question: does anyone know where I can find some CREDIBLE reviews on this game? I've never been back to that shit site since reading several reviews trashing neo-classic games like Symphony of the Night and the original Tomb Raider. Seems like GameFAQs will accept reviews from anyone as long as you are at least 11 years old and have remedial writing skills.

Now I'm tempted to take that as a personal insult, as I've written several FAQ's and reviews for games on GameFAQ's -- including Konami Arcade Classics for the GBA!

And I'm 27, thank you very much.

Sorry, I didn't mean that ALL reviews on that site were crap. It's just that when you browse the reviews of most games on the site, there is at least 1 or 2 that completely trash the game, no matter how great it is. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some of the comments made in them are completely ridiculous and are obviously written by someone who hasn't put much time into the game. And when you throw a couple poorly written reviews in with ones that are well done, it kind of cheapens the whole thing (for me at least anyway).

Well, you WILL always find people who hate a game, no matter how great it is. I was never a huge fan of Half Life or Xenogears, to give a example. But you also find people who love games that the rest of us detest -- I myself, to give another example, happen to enjoy Friday the 13th for the NES. :) I don't mind the mixed reviews, because they give different viewpoints. I just usually take the average anwyay, and also look at what GameSpot said on the game, and THEIR reader reviews.

But you are correct in how many young people write reviews. There should be more controls in place. It brings down the top notch ones (like from yours truly :D ).

90% of the posters on Gamefaqs are complete morons.

I'm currently about halfway through it. The controls are awkward, the camera angles are sucky, and there's some areas where everything slows down, but so far I really, really like it. It feels like Resident Evil without the fighting. There's some cheap deaths, but if you pay attention you'll be ok. And running away from a collapsing bridge then turning around to watch it fall is just TOO cool. :D

And it's also completely nerve-wracking too, especially since you have NO clue when an aftershock is going to hit.
