The only problem with my Faxanadu game is the password that is written on the manual. Please help me get rid the ink. I tried alcohol and got a little bit to come off without damage but it is still obvious, it seems it is a standard black ballpoint pen ink.

Lighter fluid? Works on a lot of stuff without damaging it.

inquire with stamp collectors, they are used to removing ink from stamps.

I just used a bit of lighter fluid to take the ink off a Game Gear label that someone had written their name on. Put a bit on a paper towel then rub lightly in just the area of the ink to see if any of it is lifting.
