Thank you God! I will be throwing as much money as I can at them when I get my taxes back! Shadowrun is still one of my top console games of all time and right up there with D&D - this just inspired me to start a new Shadowrun campaign.

The classic Shadowrun games for the SNES and Sega Genesis are so good it's hard to tell which one is better. $15 donated!

I like how they mentioned both the SNES and Genesis versions... too bad they didn't mention the Sega CD one. :(

Still, if the game is really moddable then I hope someone ports the Genesis and SNES campaigns. Preferably officially. And maybe we'll get that SNES sequel that never materialized...

i didnt see it mentioned in the article when i skimmed through it, but im assuming this is only a pc release correct? shit that sucks if it is cuz i only play on consoles and i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee shadowrun (for the snes anyway, FUCK the genesis game)

You are a madman - the only plus I would give the SNES version over the Genesis version is the Camera angles. The Genesis version was much more open, uncensored, and the battles followed the original D20 system much closer. Keep your SNES version.
