another "help me remember" post

Okay, I've only seen this game once, so please tolerate me.

It was a racing game. I *think* you rode a motorcycle. I remember having a rear view mirror. I remember riding through caves with stalactites and stalagmites. The version I played was sit down. I think it had handle bar controllers. The only place I ever saw it was in an arcade in the basement of the Contemporary Inn in Disney World back in the early 80's (I think it was 82 or 83 but I wouldn't swear to it.) I thought it was cool, but my parents thought there was better things to do at Disney World than play video games. :(

That looks incredible! What was it like in motion? Seems like it was laser-disc based... Never saw this one back in the day.

Kristine, Thanks! Hmm, I shoulda thought of looking at KLOV.


The play was smooth, in fact my memory of it being at the beginning of the 80s was incongruous with the memory of the gameplay as I couldn't imagine a 3d FPRacer appearing that early in VG history. Anyway, Its laser-disc based play is prolly why MAME doesn't do it. I'll have to check to see if Daphne does.
