What was the last issue of Nintendo Power that had N64 content?

So I'm thinking my next collecting project will be a set of complete (with posters and other inserts) Nintendo Power issues up through the end of the SNES coverage, but also possibly including the N64. I was a subscriber from 1993 until sometime in 1998, but recycled all of my issues about 12 years ago because at the time I did not read them, they took up a huge amount of space, and many of them were in tatters from reading them so much.

I'm trying to find out when the N64 coverage effectively ended, so I can set a cut-off date. The websites I looked at that have scans of back issues only seem to go up through 1999, but since N64 games kept coming out a few years after that these sites aren't too much help there. I've never been a huge fan of the Gamecube, and I'm definitely not interested in the magazine after it stopped being an in-house rag, so the issues after that aren't too interesting for me at the moment.

I'm just looking for the point where the reviews of new games stopped, I'm sure it was probably at least mentioned a few times during Gamecube era. If anyone could help me with this it would be much appreciated.

The last US release for the console was Madden 2002 around August 2001 so I'd imagine their September or october issues of that year would be the last to cover N64 games

Ahh I think you are right. Wasn't the last one Powerpuff Girls and then Tony Hawk 3 came out of nowhere?

I'm pretty sure Madden was the last released game for the original Xbox.

Right around issue #150 it ends. I have most of the Nintendo powers up to that one and stopped at that one because I do'nt really care about gamecube. It has a picture of luigi on the cover.

I'm most likely going to work on 1991-1997 first, and then the earlier issues. But thanks for pointing it out.

leatherrebel, I think 150 is a good cut-off point, both numerically and if it's the first Gamecube issue. I might just go with that.
