well i finally decided to try out my tototek flash cart i aquired some time ago but never messed with. i discovered for some reason i got the card WITHOUT the CIC-161 chip that apperently is needed to play the thing on a acual SNES (the reason i bought it). have no idea why the chip was optional. i know i can get a little adaptor thing for $10 shipped but i dunno...it just looks awkward and ugly. so 2 part question really.

1) tototek doesnt seem to sell the individual CIC-161 chip so does anyone know where i can get one?

2) i kinda suck at soldering so anyone willing to solder the chip into place on the cart for a small fee?

thanks.

Pay for shipping and I'll handle it for next to nothing (if even nothing).

Couldn't you pull the CIC chip from any SNES cart of the appropriate region? I've got a few dead SNES carts whose CIC chip should work though that may be why the cart appears dead.

I should have a snes game that I don't need the board for (using the shell for an everdrive), so if OP needs it I can send it your way.
