Activision has yet to announce which films from the character's 50-year-long movie history will be represented, but we guarantee they'll include tuxedos, girls, and gunfights. We also guarantee it'll be weird that the same guy, at roughly the same age, is taking on missions in the '60s and now.

Developed by Eurocom, the new game seems to serve as a sequel to the Wii's Goldeneye 007 (http://www.joystiq.com/game/goldeneye-007) and its updated port Goldeneye 007 Reloaded (http://www.joystiq.com/game/goldeneye-007-reloaded). A single-player mode brings back that game's MI-6 Ops Missions (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/11/02/goldeneye-007-reloaded-walkthrough-takes-us-through-mi-6-mode/), this time playable from a villain's perspective as well. Multiplayer is also included, in both local split-screen and online competitive modes.

007 Legends is due this fall. We just realized, why not tie together seven Bond films for the story? Then the title could have been a nice self-referential pun.Continue reading 007 Legends: six Bond films shaken, not stirred, into a single game (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/04/18/007-legends-six-bond-films-shaken-not-stirred-into-a-single-g/)

No thanks, James Bond's grave doesn't need to be disturbed anymore than it already has.

Oh FFS put the series away Activision. You're a lousy developer Goldeneye wasn't that great. The games are dull. Remake was terrible.

Hopefully you mean Goldeneye Wii wasn't that great and the remake was terrible, because Goldeneye 64 is the best single player fps of all time and a damn good multiplayer fps.

Activision has nothing to do with Rare's Goldeneye for N64.

I'm aware of that, but that doesn't mean that he couldn't have been saying Activision was a lousy developer and meaning that Goldeneye N64 wasn't great and the remake is crap. From what I've read, I think Ryudo only owns a Wii, and Goldeneye Wii is the remake. The PS360 game was a remake of a remake. There's nothing there inferring that I meant Activision was the Goldeneye 64 developer/publisher. Which like you just mentioned was Rare developed it when they were one of Nintendo's first party developers.

I didn't own a N64 back then and so was dependent to buddies to let me play theirs. I ended up playing Perfect Dark before Golden Eye and even then Golden Eye looked and felt dated to me. The game may of had a huge apart in shaping how console FPS games developed but I don't find it fun to play at all. I got much more enjoyment out of playing the FPS games before it like Dark Forces and after it like the original Medal of Honor then I ever did with Golden Eye.

On topic, I have no idea how they are going to string six bond films into one but if it works then great and if not then it will be another game I pass.

The N64 game Rare made is far overrated. Wasn't worth the hype back when I played it in 98. It was meh.
Yes Activision is a lousy developer as well.

My fave Rare game from the N64 era was Jet Force Gemini

Well if you want to get down to it, Activision has nothing to do with this game other than publishing it..Eurocom is the developer for the Goldeneye remakes and the this new one coming out, so get your facts right before you go talking garbage

Sounds very intriguing. However, like the Wii's Goldeneye, the character will most certainly be played by Daniel Craig. Fine, but as a Bond fan, I simply don't agree with playing a Roger Moore or Sean Connery, etc. movie as Daniel Craig.

I wasn't a fan of the N64 version of Goldeneye or the remake last year. But I still give Bond games a try(I liked Quantum of Solace) so I'm interested in this one too.
