xbox side scrollers?

Are there any good side scrollers for the original xbox?

The only sidescrolling game that comes to mind is Metal Slug 3.

There are the Megaman & Megaman X collections. I believe those hit the original Xbox.

The Megaman X Collection was only on Gamecube and PS2, not Xbox.

What does the Xbox have for sidescrollers? Well, for classic collections, there's Megaman Anniversary Collection, a few games in Tecmo Classic Arcade (Rastan, for instance), some stuff in the Europe-only, but region-free, Taito Legends 2, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4 + 5, some stuff in each of the first two Midway Arcade Treasures collections, some stuff in the two Capcom Classic Collections...

As for new games, the only one that comes to mind is Blowout, which was on GC, Xbox, and PS2. It's actually a pretty decently fun game. It's a fun, sidescrolling 2.5d action-shooter game.

Alien Hominid is the only game I can think of that hasn't been mentioned... but its lone release on the original Xbox was in Europe.

well I wont be using any collections, this is for an arcade machine Im building out of a hacked xbox so I already have the emulators and roms of the collections games, I will have to try the two mentioned above, also if anyone knows of any serires that would translate into a 6 button configuration from xbox that would be great too

The Xbox didn't see many platformers at all. All I can think of for it is

Alien Hominid
Metal Slug 3
Metal Slug 4 & 5
Megaman Anniversary Collection

but you did say you're building an arcade cabinet for a hacked Xbox, so it hardly matters - just grab CoinOps and a boatload of your favorite classic game roms and you're covered for all the platformers you could ever want.


But as for official Xbox games in such an arcade cabinet, I recommend these as a bare minimum:

oh i have coin ops, its just that we just upgraded from a 40 gig HD to a 150 and I was wondering f there were any xbox original games that would translate well since we have the space
