View Full Version : Anyone buy a Magnavox Odyssey back in the day?

I was just wondering if anyone here bought an Odyssey back in it's original run. 1972-1975. Did you buy any extra games or the Shooting Gallery?

Or maybe you didn't buy it. Maybe you knew someone who owned it, or you saw it in stores?

A close friend bought one when it came out. I remember that one of his controllers didn't work correctly so he always made sure his opponent had the bad controller.

He still has that Odyssey today. A few years ago I brought it with me when I visited Ralph Baer and he autographed it for my friend.
