Can someone list the RPGs in the NTSC U/C region. I am looking for mostly JRPGs, but Western RPGS are ok if they play like a JRPG (ie: NOT Fable). I already know about these:
Phantasy Star Online (As far as I know, this is useless, I also have 3 versions already)
Digimon World 4 (a PSO clone, multi-platform too, so no.)

Here's a list I made, though I haven't personally played everything so I'm not 100% sure if all of these would be fully considered RPGs. I've also marked the games that are console exclusive to the XBOX. Almost all of these are WRPGs, though, except pretty much the ones you already listed, and Shenmue II

Shenmue 2 is technically the only exclusive title if you go by the fact it was never released in the US. Everything else is only exclusive if you don't count PC releases.

You don't read very well do you.

I read well, I just didn't read his post other than the list of games. People use console exclusive for XBOX titles because about 50% of the exclusives are also on PC. It's to make the exclusive list look bigger than it actually is.

It's true that most of the console exclusive titles were also on PC. And in the end the Xbox is terrible for exclusive RPGs and even more terrible for exclusive JRPGs. I can't really think of any system that's really worse for that genre.

And that's the answer to why I supported PS3 out the gate. I knew for a fact that PS3 would get more exclusive RPGs than Xbox 360 due to the history of the comparison between PS2 and Xbox. I didn't get a 360 till a year after I got the PS3.

I was reading about one in japan that was to be an XBOX exclusive (the title was Tenerezza) but then canceled it in favor of a PC version, they then uncanceled the Xbox version and released it years late. Realistically the XBOX's saving grace is the similarity to PCs
The reason I asked is that the Xbox is littered with canceled games, mostly Japanese game genres and RPGs, at the time I counted a few years ago less than half of those games ever got released even in Japan. I can do without Shenmue II or for that matter the first one, the reason I never got an Xbox until yesterday is the same reason I don't hold N64, Dreamcast or Saturn stuff long, 1 or 2 great games is awful when I have 30+ waiting to be played that are far better. Seems the Xbox can't even do that.

I use console exclusivity for exactly the reason it's stated: I only play games on console. Seem reasonable enough? For instance, despite being a hardcore fps fan I just purchased Crysis two months ago, even though it's been out since 2007. Why now? Because it finally got a console release six months ago. I don't play games on Pc and I suspect I'm not the only one out there.
As for why so many Xbox and 360 games are on PC, that should be pretty obvious. They are a software company with a long history of publishing PC games way before they got into the console business. That won't change anytime soon so yes a majority of their console games will continue to get PC releases as well.

With the exception of Morrowind, it's a lot more convenient to get the Xbox versions and the PC versions aren't much better. Maintaining the ability to play PC games can be a headache in the long run. People use "console exclusive" for every console.
