Since my younger years I've had a big place in my heart for Moon Patrol. I've played the arcade, 2600, and C64 versions and enjoyed them all, but I want to know if I'm missing any other great versions of this classic.

The Atari 5200 and XEGS versions are nice. The Colecovision prototype is also a good effort.

But when I want to play Moon Patrol, I play the original arcade game on my Dreamcast or PSOne. Digital Eclipse included it on compilations for both consoles.

Because I played it a million times as a kid I would have to say Moon Patrol on the Atari 5200.

There's only 1 version I have of Moon Patrol, Midway Presents Arcade's Greatest Hits The Midway Collection 2 (albeit Moon Patrol is Irem's baby, Midway got the license for it for the US) on the PS1. I have a close to arcade quality port on that thing, if not emulated.

I'm a tad biased bring that it was the 1st game I ever played in the arcade. So my pick would be the arcade version.

I have spent some time with the Gameboy Color version (with Spyhunter) and its pretty awesome. Its the perfect portable game.

I'm quite fond of the Vic-20 version, personally. I still have the copy of it that I originally played when I was about 3 years old.

The 2600 version. I love how the wheels look like feet:)
