I've got 3 SNES Game Genies, 4 consoles, and one copy of UN Squadron. Codes do nothing. Are there different versions of the cart? Anyone else out there with these items mind testing some codes out and reporting your results?
I imagine it's the cart, but before I plunk down the $$$ to grab another (hoping that it's different from the one that I own), I'd like to know if these codes are working for other copies of the game and what percent of them do. If the compatibility rate is really low, then I'm not interested in potentially buying 5 or 6 copies until I get one that's compatible.
Thanks.

I never used Game Genie much, but I did like to use the infinite special weapons code to have infinite small bombs because it was fun to hold down the button on autofire and rain bombs all over the tanks and cannons on the ground in UN Squadron. I never had problems with the GG not working on that game. Are you using codes from the manual?

I rarely ever use it, but there's an infinite money code and I thought that would make things interesting, especially when I'm late night gaming and am too tired too really try :P
No, codes I found online. I have no idea where I stashed my old manuals. I have the feeling that I left them at my mother's house about 15 years ago when I move out and they've likely been tossed since :(
Do you mind posting the codes from the manual itself? I can't imagine that they're gonna be different than what I found online, but who knows.

I suppose the Good list for SNES games would tell you if there are variations of the ROM. Perhaps the codes only work on one version. If so, they can usually be easily adapted for another version.

I was trying to find info along those lines without any luck when I started this thread :(

I used to use my GG with the game frequently, and never had any problems. Perhaps you have a different revision.
