After my Spy vs. Spy story, you guys prolly think I am the world's worst collector. Well I have another story that confirms it.

I found a complete Bioshock Limited Edition in my local game store. It was in pretty bad condition. But it did have all the discs, the Big Daddy figure unopened, and the box. The seller priced it at 30 dollars. I am assuming that he based the price on the average ebay listing. What he failed to notice was that the average ebay listing is for incomplete copies.

I was cleaning the box up, and carefully removing all of the price tags that were on it. Then I removed the security sticker that was on the box. To my horror, I learned that it was not a security sticker. It was the "certificate of authentication."

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Be honest, how bad is this?

We all make mistakes. Don't worry about it.

It sounds like you are trying to resell it. I've looked at recent ebay activity and it seems that Big Daddy in an unopened box only sells for around $30 to $60, if it's not sold with the game. Peeling the sticker might have dropped the price to about $20. A loss, but not a big one.

Of course, you could just open it and put in on a shelf for yourself to enjoy.

Indeed, if you weren't going to re-sell it on eBay, the only one whose opinion counts is yourself.

I have a nasty tendency of losing the reselling game and do not suggest trying to make money there.
