First thing first, those aren't RGB but component outputs and they are just that... "outputs". You can't do anything with them if you don't have any video encoder in there. You need an encoder to encode the RGB signal from the Genesis to a YbPbPr signal, then you will be able to use those outputs. I have no idea which encoder is the best, I've never modded a Genesis for component (since the original RGB 15khz signal is the best signal you can get for this system and you don't need to do any mod for that, just the proper monitor). Iirc, the neobitz isn't that good for the Genesis, the jrok 4.1 may be a better choice but there is a lot of other option nowadays, I'm sure there is someone out here who knows a better solution.

Keep in mind if you mod inside Genesis with this, component won't work for 32X games.
Yet if you mod inside 32X with this, component won't work for Master System games.

Since 32X needs to receive RGB to operate and doesn't support SMS mode.

Making an external encoder box will allow both. If not also allowing use with other consoles. At the cost of taking more space, probably its own power source too...

you're much better off getting an RGB scart to component converter and not having to mod the console.
