View Full Version : New SNES game: Super Road Blaster!
As you may or may not know, I've been working on porting the Laserdisc arcade classic Road Blaster to the SNES.
Earlier this week, I was able to finalize the release version and make it available for everybody to enjoy.
This is one massive game (6320Mbit) and the first game to support the MSU-1 enhancement device.
Get it while it's hot at http://www.dforce3000.de/?uid=43.

That's badass. I've been looking forward to this. MSU1 is amazing and I can't wait to see what kinds of shit people do with it. Hats off to byuu. Can't wait for my SD2SNES to arrive.

Thanks, but creating the API was easy enough, that just took a willingness to try.
What d4s created is what is truly impressive. That represents hundreds of hours of work. To make 16-color tiles look as good as that is a technical marvel just by itself.

I'm really not into emulation. Can this game be put into an actual SNES cartridge and played on a normal U.S. SNES console?
Thanks.

If you count the SD2SNES as an "actual SNES cartridge" then yes. But if you're talking dedicated carts that would require an MSU1 which doesn't actually exist yet as far as I know.

Holy shit! Your right. If you look closely, you can see the 16-color tiles. Amazing!
