Where to buy Shadow Warrior?

I'd like to buy Shadow Warrior, but I'd prefer if it was already set up for Windows 7 / Dosbox.

Of course, I checked gog.com and steam. Neither of them have it.

I can order a digital download from http://www.buy3drealms.com/ but I'm not sure what their service is like or whether it's set up for modern PCs.

Any ideas?

I'm not certain you're really going to be able to find a version that's set up for "modern PCs". My best advice would be to either buy a used copy on ebay and run it through DOS Box, or buy the download through 3D Realms. I don't have any experience with them myself, but from what I can tell, you're basically buying the files that they used to sell on CD, and you can even order a backup. Since it's probably running in DOS anyway, I'd just pick it up used if I were you.

3D Realms refuses to sell this anywhere but their godawfully overpriced digital store for some reason. You're going to have to buy this from somewhere like eBay and use Dosbox or use a source port.

Dos box will most likely be your only option , great game, sucks because duke nukem 3D got so many re-releases, but Shadow Warrior is like the red headed step child everyone forgot about.

I wish I would have picked this up when I saw a copy at a thrift store, at the time I never heard of it so I didn't know what it played like. I knew about Duke Nukem 3D but not the other games in the series.

(Yup, there's at least one of those. (http://www.jonof.id.au/jfsw))

I doubt they've taken measures to prevent that.
