I think that this would be a great opportunity to uncover these lovely little secrets (and possibly stumble across something you never would have thought to look for online or in Tips N' Tricks). I'm sure this has been done before (or has a super-special area on the site for it that I am unaware of) but, who cares! Whooo Hoo Hooooo!!! Shoot 'em up, Shoot 'em up, Pow Pow!

I'll start it off with one my girlfriend and I just had a blast with (for about 5 or 6 minutes anyway). Here ya' go!
Mister Mosquito (PS2)
- hidden game: Reckless Cyclist
At the title screen, rotate the right stick clockwise 30 times. To make sure that you're doing it right, every 10 seconds you hear a confirmation sound. The 2-player game will then start right away!

Legend of the Mystical Ninja - SNES
You can play the 1st stage of Gradius in certain game parlors. I always loved that.

There was a hidden shooter called MK4 on Mortal Kombat III. It was pretty fun and challenging.

The Zoraduis game within Zone of the Enders 2 is pretty neato.
