I just finished my 5th rpg for the year!

I thought i'd share this with everyone becuase i personally don't play all the way through rpgs, i always get pissed and bored in the end and quit, but there were a couple that i conquered. this year has been different, beat my 5th and about to play through a 6th. these are all first time finishings, heres the list in order of what i've beaten this year:

Xenogears
Xenosaga Episode 1: Der wille zur macht
Skies of Arcadia: Legends
Wild Arms
Legend of Legaia

next on my agenda is Final Fantasy VII, i'm gonna finally get over the memory card erasure thats haunted me for the past few years. i hope i beat it before school starts back up ^^;

Holy crap that's a lot of hours! Xenogears alone is like 100, and Wild Arms is none too short either! Congrats! I wish I was that dedicated!

I always thought Wild Arms was short, I beat it in 28 hours. Still a favorite of mine...

FFVII, have fun my friend, my favorite game ever.

I still have yet to beat a lot of games, and even start a lot of the RPGs I have. Maybe over the winter I'll take a break from collecting and focus more on playing.

thanks everybody, my fav out of the 5 i've beaten is Xenogears, it has probably some of the best characters in my opinion plus the the story is pretty deep. I also enjoy the fighting system, you end up being more like part of the battles since you actually have to press button combos to pulll off special moves.

Skies of Arcadia: legends is close behind, I like the fact that the game doesn't have minigames to extend its length. i also enjoy the fact that it reall conveys the feeling of being a pirate and that your team and crew rely on each other a good amount.

Hahah, I'm on the same track you are. I'm like 22 hours into Xenosaga right now, and these are the ones I've already beat this year:

Xenogears
Final Fantasy V
Suikoden II

I've also had time enough to complete Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, Eternal Darkness (only once), and Mario Sunshine. It's been a good year, and all but 2 of those games were completed this summer.

Xenogears is definitely my favorite right now, I was just disappointed with the second disc, but everyone told me it took them some insane number of hours to beat the game, but I finished it in 51 hours. How long did it take you guys?

Huh, I've knocked off SIX RPG's this year:

Legaia II
Wild Arms 3
Suikoden 3
Xenosaga
Kingdom Hearts
Grandia II

To be fair, some of these were started last year, but this year is when I actually finished them. And I also was'nt working for a few months, which game me time to play. :-D

Not to menion some GBA RPG's like Lunar Legends and also both expansions of Morrowind for the PC.

I'm STILL working on Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GC and Legend of Dragoon for the PSX, along with some older Sega CD RPG's. Just not enough time in the day..... :D
