Square still has TWEWY for $20 new so it can't be that rare.

http://store.na.square-enix.com/store/sqenixus/en_US/pd/productID.116224500/categoryId.16256500/parentCategoryID.

Must be a perceived rare thing. I see this game just about all over when I'm out and about. Could just be that the people in my neck of the woods aren't into the game or they have an excess of copies floating around.

On topic, the only find for me the last few days were some DS games. I tracked down a copy of Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace from an out of the way GS location. It was the last game I needed to complete my domestic (NA) release collection of portable Mega Man games. :)

I didn't really find it per se, but I picked up a copy of Pokemon Conquest on DS for $16 and some change. I had a $5 Reward Zone coupon pop up in my inbox and I had a $10 voucher from Best Buy for ordering something off their website. I picked up Lego Batman 2 from Best Buy but ended up having to return it because Toys R Us had a better deal this week where you got the strategy guide for free. They included the DS as part of that deal which mildly amazes me because it's not much more expensive than the guide itself. @_@

Isn't your TWEWY the Canadian edition? Might want to take a close look. That might be fewer copies in terms of print run, if similarly less demand.

Yeah, it's the Canadian version. Not that it matters, I'm keeping it anyway. I don't mind having French on the packaging, but I don't like how most Canadian versions have cheaper quality inserts and manuals.

For example, Sonic Colors in the US got a cool foil cover, but the Canadian version has no foil, is printed on cheap paper, and the text looks blurry. I wish we could go back to the days when they just put the bilingual insert over top of the original one.

Got a JVC X'Eye with Road Avenger and NFL '95 for $130. Works okay, but the video cables it shipped with might be broken.

I'll have to buy a few copies off them, then, since it's going for over $60 new on Ebay. (Those are completed listings.)

[edit: Attempting to purchase it from them, the item becomes listed as "out of stock" in my shopping cart.]

After a 50 minute wait to cross to the US today... amd getting there at 7 AM, I had some decent finds.

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2012-06-27b.jpg
MD Geist II Soundtrack (US version) - $2
Vanilla Ice Is Back CD - $1

http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2012-06-27a.jpg
Legend of Dragoon - $2
Army Men Sarge's Heroes - $1
Fighting Force 2 - $1

Also picked up a brand new and sealed Fraggle Rock DVD set with all four seasons for THREE BUCKS. The box looks like it had VHS tapes instead of DVDs so I got it cheap. I'm putting it up on eBay but if someone wants it... lemme know. ;)

Do me a favor. Flip over Fighting Force 2. Look at the SKU, let me know what the number is on it. I'm trying to see if a true corrected sku is out there for the game.

Uh. Do you mean the UPC? If so, it's 0 10086 51020 1. It doesn't match the picture on MobyGames (http://www.mobygames.com/game/dreamcast/fighting-force-2/cover-art/gameCoverId,236514/); there's no sticker on the UPC.

It looks just like this one (http://www.gamefaqs.com/dreamcast/197330-fighting-force-2/images/box-42147).

I hear that. A month or so ago I was at a yard sale where a guy had a pretty nice vintage pachinko machine that was complete but just needed the usual required tear-down and rebuild vintage machines always require. He had another one that was cleaner that he was holding onto but brought it out for me to look at since he didn't know very much about them and I'm always up for explaining the basic setup and how the mechanisms work on the machines. Although his price was all anyone should ever pay for a vintage machine ($25) I really don't need another vintage pachinko although I'm sure the restoration would go far faster on this one than my last.

I've seen that Y&O nurse machine go for as low as $20 at a few rummage sales. (moments before I get there) While it's not an incredible machine, I like the motif and they tend to show up fairly frequently for less than fifty bucks. For that kind of money it would be impossible to pass up a working modern machine. It's actually a pretty cool machine with nice visuals and sound on the display screen.

These days when it comes to pachinko purchases I'm limiting myself to a single modern machine, CR Bunny Girl (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngmQBqCm1fI), if I'm ever fortunate enough to come across one. For years they were readily available at $225 but they've seem to become pretty scarce in the past couple years.

I probably would of bought it for $25.00 as I have wanted a newer type Pachinko with LCD screen in the center, also with outer lighting...I think it would go great with my Slot machines.(I am a sucker for blinking lights).
But: I know with these vendors at that market they UP the price so high there trying to feed off of impulsive buyers—that buyer almost me as I liked the way it looked lol.. ..I didn’t even bother to ask as I didn’t want to get sickened by the $250.00 price tag(oh it’s sooo rare and it works story=having no balls in it and the vendor having no idea how to even get it playing..

But: also have no room for another machine,it would wind up in my closet.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/Chris1/2012%20PICTURE%20ALBUM/PACH002.jpg

....I would love to have pachinko's built in the walls..where there was a cut out in the wall, the pachinko would be placed inside the wall flush..,also to where I could swivel it open to get to the back..
I still want to get my main machine out of my closet and put it somewhere in my apt for play as I enjoys the pachinko play..My kids do too..
But : I have too many big items..So many things I want to get rid of,like my Soda Snack Combo machine..M&M store Displays,Electric Pocketbikes,Bikes..UGH..That Big Commodore Lot of stuff I picked up is taking up a major part of my apt right now,I need to clear it out..
Every time I buy something big I kick myself as I’ve ran out of room

That last time I was here

If anyone is in the Milwaukee area and wants a good laugh, head over to the Goodwill in Waukesha off 164. In their case they have a boxed Jaguar and Jaguar CD. I figured they would have them at the regular goofy pricing they always have systems at, like the Vic 20 that sat unsold for months for $50 (Which is actually gone now...), or the brick only Dreamcast for $49.99. Then I saw the price tag: $299.99! Even for both systems that would have been absurd. Imagine my surprise when they turned out to be $299.99 each! They were most certainly very used, and on top of that the games were a further $9.99 each. I had my 25% off coupon, but who in their right mind would pay $450 for a Jaguar and Jaguar CD, let alone $600?
I decided to check Ebay when I got home and sure enough this listing pops up first:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ATARI-JAGUAR-CD-SYSTEM-CONSOLE-LOT-MINT-COMPLETE-IN-BOX-ALL-BONUS-DEMO-GAMES-/320934227182?pt=Video_Games&hash=item4ab92bacee

...which I guess explains their stupid pricing for said donated materials. Also, all the loose Genesis sports games were a mere $6.99 each, a deal, really. Goodwill really reinforces my decision to donate to St. Vincent De Paul every time I go in there.
I haven't been posting my finds much this year as I have been quite busy, but that Jaguar really got me into protest mode.

I DID stop at a rummage that was selling a large stack of boxed, complete Star Wars Lego sets for only $2 each! I picked up

V-Wing Fighter
Darth Vader's Tie Fighter
Mos Eisley Cantina
A-Wing Fighter
Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle
And a few other large non Star Wars sets.

But my biggest find is yet to be posted; it's one of those that won't be believed without pictures, so as soon as I get home to my camera I will post my metaphorical giant slain white whale.

With you're coupon 225 for a boxed jaguar cd, assuming it's currently working, isn't a bad price. It's not a flippers price but if you wanted one for your collection that's what they sell for.

Back from my semi-yearly trip to Houston to visit family. As always the thrift stores suck and the pawn shops are "eh". Did have some luck though. Sales tax is 6%, so I will let you guys figure it out. Not as easy as the 5% back in VA:

First pawn shop.
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3/Porksta/DSC01745.jpg
Dexter Season 5 (no outer sleeve) - $4
Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack - $.50
Toy Story 3 and The Hangover - $6 each

Second pawn shop:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3/Porksta/DSC01746.jpg
Grindhouse - $8
Kick-Ass - $8

Thrift Store and Half-Price Books:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3/Porksta/DSC01747.jpg
James Bond game thing - $1
3Oh!3 - $1
Deus Ex - $1 (I own it but just love it so much I bought a second copy)

Antique Store (of all places):
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3/Porksta/DSC01748.jpg
Eternal Darkness - $10
Super Smash Bros (with card) - $10
Resident Evil - $10
Same booth also had a Playstation light/sign thing. Like the signs that go on top of a shelf or a kiosk. Couldn't see the price but it was too damn heavy I couldn't lift it. Didn't bother the old lady to get a ladder since I would not have been able to ship it home anyways.

Thrift Store:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e3/Porksta/DSC01749.jpg
Eastbound and Down - $5.45
Requiem for a Dream - $5.45

That's an awesome find on Popful Mail! That's about what I paid for my copy as well.... 2 years ago. Sega CD prices seem to be exploding recently and I haven't seen that game for under $100 in recent memory.

Same here....then I sold my copy unknowingly for $35 CIB about a month or two ago not knowing it had shot up in value like that :bawling:Oh well, win some lose some.

Really nice haul at Goodwill from two days ago, didn't know some of the games so I took a few chances (Like on AD&D, Dr. Chaos, and Dragon Spirit). There were a lot of games, passed up some other stuff like Wizards and Warriors II, Scheherazade, Faxanadu, Marble Madness, two copies of Clash at Demonhead, Dick Tracy, Startropics, some other common shit. With each game at $3 apiece plus a 20% Goodwill discount card, all of these games were just $33. Went back yesterday and picked up a copy of W&W III that I had left behind, which brings my total to $35 for 15 games. Not bad, if I do say so myself.

I know, right?? Awesome score, Balloo!
I got my DW4 as a gift from my awesome wife a couple birthdays ago, but I know for a fact she paid $50 for it. Maybe a tad high, but it was from a retail store in Portland, ME. She noticed me eyeing while we were visiting a few months prior, and got in touch with the store owners, had them ship it to her workplace in MA, and had it sitting in her desk for a good 4 months. Receiving it on my birthday totally knocked my socks off, because I was not expecting it in the least!
Also, I played it through to the end— probably my favorite (and most technically impressive) 8-bit RPG.

The stickered one is Eidos's attempt at correcting the SKU. I'm trying to find out if they actually printed a corrected SKU (as seen on the Moby Games back insert scan) or if they didn't do a run past the ones that came with stickers. The 0 10086 51020 1 is actually the SKU for Toy Commander. (10086 is the Sega identifier portion of the SKU)

Ultima was $2

PS3 80gb for $15 at Value Village. Original price was $30, but they had it ticketed as furniture, which was 50% that day. They had no way of testing it, so it was sold as is for parts. Seems to run cool and no YLOD (yet). Even if it only lasts a little while it will be still worth it. I just need to figure out what games to get.

Didn't get anything but for the people who live in new hampshire they opened up a comic book shop in the mall of new hampshire and have some atari, nes, snes, n64, ps1, sms, genesis, gameboy games. and a n64 and genesis console. They are asking retail of what it would go for on ebay but maybe you can talk em down.

I had my first craigslist deal yesterday. Never really messed with it much due to some of the horror stories I've heard but I did get a few decent items. Two Saturn games, The Hulk and Cyberia $5 and $3 respectively and 4 2600 games all $5 ea Death Trap, Up 'N Down, Polaris, and Spy Hunter. Mobile Suit Gundam (PS2) $5 garage sale. Super Castlevania IV (SNES) and MS. Pac-Man (N64) $15 total from a junk shop in town.

Yes the PS2 AC adaptor will work, I used it on mine before I got the official one.
