Atari 2600 Jr Console Screen Border

I bought an Atari 2600 Jr console on Ebay, supposedly like new, but the screen displays the left border crooked (Asteroids) or with small green dots or lines in the left border.

Crooked or combed? What kind of TV? Any pics?

Many 2600 games have odd looking lefthand borders due to the way that they are programmed.

I think it's normal. I see those types of lines in a lot of my Atari games.

It's normal, it's actually part of the overscan area of Atari games although some CRT's and most all LCD's can see it.
