After reading the thread with the Mystery of Time and Space, I'm feening for some serious adventure games. I remember playing this game way back in the day when I first got a playstation, borrowed it from a buddy of mine. I've been looking for a copy, but they seem to go rather pricey.
Can anyone suggest some like-minded adventure games? I know all about all the sierra games, so no need to inform me of those... unless you have a whole crapload of them you want to unload on the cheap =P

Discworld,,,
I have an empty box for this game,,The big PS version black box..
My uncle bought 12 nice condition Black boxed PS games for me at a flea market..but he failed to look in each box.. :(
The Discworld box is empty.....Ah..I wanted to play this game...it's the first box I opened..
Now hopefully I can find a loose PS disc to put in the box..

Blazing Dragons is a Saturn game. It may have been released for the Playstation, but the Saturn version is pretty common and could probably be had cheaper.
I've got a complete copy of Discworld somewhere around here. I picked it up at a video store. It's complete, but has the expected video store wear. If you're interested, pm me. Also, since I think you're in MI, the video store I bought this at is by the Silverdome. I wiped them out of really good titles (Suikoden 2, Super Puzzle Fighter, 2 Klonoa's), but left behind some uncommon stuff like Discworld 2 and Ehergizer (probably way off on the spelling). Chances are that everything is still there if you wanted it.
On a side note, when I tested this game to make sure it worked, I got bored very quickly. I didn't spend enough time with it to figure out what the hell was going on. Is this game really that good?

The only other PS1 point and click-ers that come to mind right away are the two Broken Sword games.
Got the second one, and from what I've played of it, it seemed to make the transition from PC to PS1 better than I expected.

Silverload is another point and click adventure game that takes place in the old wild west where you have to shoot your enemies with the mouse.

Silverload is more rare than the First Discworld.
Blazing Dragons is out on the PSX as well.

I started a thread trying to list all the PSX point-and-click adventures in the forums here a couple months back. I think it's a complete list too (or pretty close). I don't know how to link to it, but do a search of "point and click playtation" and you'll see it.

Oooh, thanks.
And hitman, I can pretty much see the Silverdome from where I'm sitting right now... I can literally see the Palace. What store? And does the discworld have anything on the disc or box itself? (disc shield, writing, ect) or just worn from use?

I forget the name of the store, but it's right off whatever exit I took, and it's right by the Silverdome. It's not a chain like Blockbuster or anything, it's just a mom & pop place. They had a "Black Entertainment" section if that jogs your memory any LOL . I'd never seen a video store with a "Black Entertainment" section before. Anyway, up by the counter they have a bunch of games for sale, I think for $5.99. All their older games that are for rent are also for sale though, you have to go look on the shelf for those.
There's no disc shield or stickers on the disc. There might be a couple small tears on the manual and inside the case from where i removed stickers, but I'm not sure. I bought a whole bunch of long boxed games from them. Some had no stickers, some were stickered to death. Let me know if you're interested.
