I have recently completed another project, which is a low-cost Flash HuCard for the Turbografx-16 and PC-Engine systems.

This provides a way for developers and players of homebrew games (& fan translations) to play on a real system. Also, it provides a way to "try before you buy" with commercial games.

Here is the web page that I've made, if anyone wants to check it out:
http://www.gamingenterprisesinc.com/Flash_HuCard/

This is not meant to compete with the more expensive multicarts, that allow you to load every rom ever made, at once. It is just meant to load & play a single game.
It is also very low power, due to the small number of ICs, which would be beneficial for those with battery-operated handheld systems.

I have sold a majority of the initial batch, but I am considering making a second batch if there is interest.

There are also a couple topics at pcenginefx.com (Turbo/PCE Game/Tool Development forum), if anyone's interested.

The first batch of cards is now sold out.

I plan to do a small second batch soon, though.

This is so cool! Are you also sold out of Bare Bone Hucards too? How much are you selling the bare bones for? Can you also give me an idea of the parts list i would need to complete it? Thanks!

OK, this one is lost on me. You created a thread to promote a good product, only to say that they are sold out. If I was interested, it does me no good. :-/

RIF. Original thread was on 6/17. Post stating they are sold out was 7/7. You probably should have been paying attention weeks ago.

Lol. My original post was intended to gauge interest, so I could decide whether to make a second batch.....which I will, by the way.

I do have bare boards. I just need to find the time to assemble some more.

Just shoot me an email (thru my website) & I can send you any info you want.

How does this compare to the tg-16 everdrive cards coming out later this month?

His card doesn't fit more than a few games, and uses USB to get them on there. Turbo ED has SD or mini-SD and unlimited games. His price is 45 + 7 shipping in USA. Turbo ED is 79.99 plus shipping. Both are just a green PCB, no outer shell of any kind.
