Anarchy will Reign in early 2013 [Joystiq]

However, Sega has delayed the release of Platinum's brawler again. Once set for July 2012 (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/12/15/anarchy-reigns-reined-in-until-july-2012/) (which was a delay), then "to be confirmed (http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/25/anarchy-reigns-us-eu-release-date-pushed-once-again-this-time-t/)," Sega has now given the game a Q1 2013 window in a brief message on Twitter (https://twitter.com/SEGA/status/214806950897127424). This game was supposed to be released in fall 2011 (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/01/27/platinums-max-anarchy-coming-to-the-west-as-anarchy-reigns/).

If you have access to a PS3 and a Japanese PlayStation Network account, you can download a demo of the game right now, under its Japanese name, Max Anarchy. If this is the only way that I get to play with Bayonetta until a full-fledged Bayonetta sequel is released (IF that ever happens) I will very likely spend my money on this game.

I've already ordered the japanese version, and many people have done the same. By the time it comes out, nobody will care.

My copy pre-ordered with Gamestop to get the Bayonetta DLC and because I have a feeling that if I don't pre-order stores will only get 1 or 2 copies and it'll be a huge PITA to get.

I know the game is mediocre, but it's priced to move at $30 and I need me some Bayonetta.

I love Platinum, but this doesn't look particularly appealing to me. I'm more interested in the Metal Gear title they're doing along with Bayonetta 2.

Yeah, I watched somebody play through the Metal Gear Rising demo and it looks VERY Platinum. I'm pretty excited about that one.
