Yup. Anyone else have this fantastic creepy game? Done by Deep Silver, most known for these days for Dead Island, this is a little obscure survival horror game that released on the Wii at the time when there was just so much shovelware that it got swallowed up and missed by many people. The Collector's edition is awesome. Steel box with an extra disc that has a bunch of extras on DVD on one side and the soundtrack on CD on the other. Never thought I would play a great game having to do with Mountain Climbing, but if you love spooky ghost stories, this game may be worth picking up for you. I have a strong feeling that this is going to end up being one of those "Rare" games down the road that fetches quite a bit of money as fan support seems to be growing as people are finally noticing this little gem. Amazon has the collector's editions right now for around $10.00! Can't beat that either. Any thoughts from anyone?

I love this game. It's really slow paced but I think that is part of its charm. The setting alone is unique enough to warrant giving it a try.

Yeah, but I also think the pacing is one of the creepy things about the game. It helps to sustain that almost desperate what the Hell is happening feeling you get at the moments that all Hell breaks loose.

I've seen the game in stores and looked it over as the box art drew me in but as I don't have a Wii I'll put off getting it. I'll at least watch a playthrough of it on youtube. I rarely bother to look over the Wii games in store but something about this one looked different than most of the other filler around it, it's nice to know it's a good game as all I was going by was the box.

I bought a copy when Gamestop was clearancing them a couple years back but have yet to touch it.
I did see the collectors edition though and it looks neat, thanks for the info on it. I've heard a lot of good things about the game though.

Yeah, it's OK. I picked it up when it came out and played through it over a couple of weekends, and my final impression was that it's a more than competent Silent Hill clone with some goofy motion control stuff in it. Some of the later banishment spells are hard to pull off with the Wii-mote consistently, and that can lead to some frustration. I also fell through geometry more than once and had to reload a previous save. Technical problems like that really ruin the atmosphere, especially when they happen enough that you're always worried about it in the back of your mind while you play.
On the other hand, it's a horror game that tries some different things, even if they don't always work as intended, and that's respectable. It's a Hell of a lot better than "Amy".
