So I have recently taken it upon myself to try and get a superior picture out of my Genny/32x/SCD combo, and since it's nigh-impossible to find a mod for the 32x, I figured SCART to an s-video adapter would be the way to go (since I lack component inputs on the tv). I ordered an EU scart cable and an adapter I thought would do the job.

Well as it turns out the cheapo SCART-s-vid adapter I have is not capable of handling the rgb signals the Genesis puts out, and I'm having a real hard time tracking down something that can manage it. Does anyone have experience with this sort of thing?

Well I use the Scart to Component. If you really want to get the best picture without buying a Sony PVM, XRGB Video scaler or a Euro Scart CRT, then you should just buy another small CRT that has components. That would be the easiest and cheapest way.
