Let the nostalgia loose tonight at 8 pm Eastern, as 2 new shows are unveiled. Our very own TecmoBowl-vs-RBI.com podcast team has been running strong for a year now. Our show has been invited to join up with the 8 Bit X radio network. http://www.8bitx.com/

Tonight on the weekly TB-vs-RBI show, we start off by delivering the goods on the Chicago Bears of Tecmo Bowl. It's a 30 minute showcase on what makes the Bears so formidable and great.
We'll cover Chicago's fairly conservative playbook and how it leaves a bit to be desired with a group of lack luster play-makers in the passing game. However, with Walter Payton as the focal point it's more of an asset than a hindrance.

From there, we'll tackle all the ins and outs of my favorite aspect of Da Bears.....the monstrously dominant defense that's filled with fast and powerful play makers. Last but not least, the elite group of special teams play that the Bears possess gets into the mix. Special teams is such a key factor in Tecmo bowl, and we'll illustrate how guys like Kevin Butler and Dennis Gentry ultimately effect the other groups of personnel on the game in a very positive manner.

Afterwards at 8:30, our side project called "The retro sports game review" kicks off its very 1st show. We tackle a trio of sports games with our take of the good, the bad, and the absurd. Tonight we run through 3 NES wrestling games. The ever notorious Nintendo Pro Wrestling, Tag Team Wrestling by Data East, and Tecmo World Wrestling. We uncover which games have some enduring entertainment value, and which ones might want to make you punch yourself in the face out of sheer frustration.
