Like it's no secret I have a NGPC and a Wonderswan, but neither of them are backlit. Now in the daytime I can sit by a window and play easily. But when the sun goes down, with the Lamps in my house I can't as easily see the screen when I play. So I ask is there any cheap solution to this problem?

Not cheap, but effective. GBA SP front light scavenging. I have these plus a Swan Crystal that I'm in the middle of mocking up right now :)

If you're patient, then picking up broken SPs to steal the light from on eBay isn't too bacd. I typically pay between 5-15 bucks a pop for them. Just make sure to get the 001 model and not the (usually more expensive) 101.

I actually have a broken GBA SP, though I don't know if it can be used. the lcd screen is cracked and there is "ink" or what ever that black stuff is showing.

The front light may still be intact. The only way to really know is to pop it open. I have a how-to link somewhere for the NGPC. Lemme see if I can find it...

This link didn't work on my phone, but it seems promising: http://www.jamma-nation-x.com/jammax/ngpcdiy.html
