Sale at K B Toys??

I didn't see where anyone had posted this, but last night at our local KB Toys, they are offering a PS2 for $159 when you purchase ANY game. Likewise, the same deal with the Gamecube for $129. I didn't see anything for the Xbox.

I haven't seen this in any other store so I was wandering if this could be a local or company wide thing to get rid of some stock or is this a sign of things to come, ie another round of price drops for the consoles?

ive seen this sale also. and at the local Kay Bees there is a table with PS1, PS2, GC, XBox and GBA games for cheap(under $20). a few good ones too...Castlevania for GBA, Timesplitters2 for GC, Vice City for PS2...

I think it was GTA2 at least, I usually see GTA and GTA2 for PSX for that much at my local KB.

yeah it was the earlier GTAs. Vice City is actually on the Best Buy site for $29.99.

There is currently a Summer Sale going on at KB's web site... up to 60% off on selected items, some with free shipping. Consoles are excluded but you can get certain games cheap. I just ordered Mega Man 8 and X4 for PSX.
