I received an email about running MAME that I cannot answer. It's about the DOS command lines and the documentation within 0.71 MAME DOS doesn't seem to define this particular command line switch:

I was wondering: do you have a
reference that shows the command-line switches that are available for MAME?
I need the switch that disables or bypasses the "OK" prompt when you start a
ROM. I'm creating a MAME cabinet for my boss, and I want MAME to operate in
as "hands-off" a mode as possible.

Anyone have the answer for this? Thought I'd run it by everyone here before hitting a MAME board wtih the question. Thanks!

I've never seen one that does and would be surprised if there is one. That would be like disabling the EULAs in software installers... it would make them useless and they're there for a reason.

Got it.

-skip_disclaimer and -skip_gameinfo

Type mame -help at the command prompt and cha-ching!

BTW I knew it was possible - recent versions of MAME32 manage this with a checkbox, so it had to be an option in DOS. Just a matter of tracking down the exact command.
