Hey guys I just came across an awesome NES site, this guy plans to review every NES game, pretty much in order. The reviews are pretty damned entertaining, so I'm trying to help promote it.

Check it out, it's pretty sweet.

DKJr. Math was bad enough. If your doing the games in order, then it's a good thing Action 52 came out in 1991.

So do you own every NES game released in North America? Are you reviewing the unlicensed games too?

No, I only have about 300 carts at current time but luckily I live in Houston, TX, home of more flea markets per square inch the anywhere in the world it seems so carts are easy to find. I found R.O.B. shockingly cheap but the piece for Stack-Up were a SERIOUS bitch to locate as it only came with the Gyromite pieces. Popular question is do I use an emulator to which I say, not 90% of the time. For Hogan's Alley and Wild Gunman (sitting in draft folder right now), I used one because the Zapper doesn't work with plasma TVs, only old pieces of crap CRT (cathode ray tube) sets, so I had to rely on good ol' nesterj. Once I got R.O.B., I realized he pulled the same wackiness, so just went to a pawn shop and found an old duster of a tv on the cheap and that's why there was a gap between those reviews, though I always have 3-4 in my drafts in case that happens so I NEVER go more than one day without one so noone noticed(whew!). I started really against doing the unlicensed games but am geting quite a few requests for those dreadful piles of junk so starting to lean a little bit towards maybe once a month doing a "bonus" review on an unlicensed "gem". What do you think? By the way, Donkey Kong Jr. Math is such a running joke right now due to it's wretchedness that he has almost become my mascot on NESquester's facebook page. The best idea are usually the ones by accident no? :)

You don't owe me anything, but I would certainly appreciate the review.

Also, I'll complete the circle here and plug a great site (of DOOM!) for the wrestling fans here: http://www.rspwfaq.net/

I have one of those plug and play games based on NES hardware. It has 120 games that are as bad or worse than the ones in Action 52. Well, it says 121 games, but they repeated one, and it's the wrong one. They were $5 at Staples last year. Some of the games are actually just graphic hacks of Intellivision games! There are also games featuring Pikachu and Elmo.

CRT > Plasma any day of the week. I don't even own a crappy plasma/hd whatever tv. Just a good ol' Trinitron.
