Nintendo Promo Videos?

I just remembered I have these Diddy Kong Racing and Starfox 64 promotional videos. Are these things worth anything? Does anyone remember these? I'm watching them again now. :P

Id like a copy if possible, im trying to complile as many old adverts/promo vids as possible, i have a big fat 1 so far...

on that note, does anyone have any links to old nes/sega tv spots? I can remember the NES mario set tv advert, just cant find it anywhere!

Ok I'll scan the videos/covers. All I remember is either NoA or Toys r US sent them, I'm thinking the latter. I remember watching these two videos all the time, due to their cheesy humor and hilarity. :D

I've got those somewhere too - I remember Toys R Us was sending them out and for the first time ever I was glad they asked for my address and held up my otherwise busy shedule :) Are there more? I have a pile of them that I can sort through if anyone is looking for something specific.

Hey DP, yes it IS me. The VoodooMoose person aswell, and now I've been collecting video game stuff lately! Small world I guess, just sorting through my video game stuff I have incase somethings valuable. Even if these aren't they're priceless! :D

hey i know what you guys are talking about. I have five different nintendo promo tapes. One for diddy kong racing, one for raymen 2, two star fox tapes (one with toys r us on the back and another with a rumble pack on the back, just a small variation on box, but the same tape) and one called "hot newz 64, n'siders guide to n64 (has stuff about dk64 and jet force gemini. I believe that some of these videos came in the mail if you were a subscriber to nintendo power and some were mailed out also by toys'r'us. pretty cool tapes if you ask me. :D

yep, they came in the mail if you subscribed to Nintendo Power...I have the first tape that came out before the N64 was released showing off some of the games, the Hot Newz 64 one and the Rayman one. I used to have them all, but I don't know what happened to the other ones. I you could spare one the Star Fox ones I'd appreciate it...let me know.

well, i would, but i do collect variations and since they have different box arts i think i am going to keep it. I do see these star fox ones around quite often tho for like a buck at goodwill and what not, so if i see one i will mos def pick it up and let you know

Yeah, I have a few of these. Toys r us sent them. I think I have banjo Kazooie and donkey kong one.

I too, have some of these Nintendo Promo tapes. I have the Banjo Kazooie tape, the Hot Newz 64 tape, a couple Pokemon promo tapes, one from Nintendo and one from Toys R Us (same video, but one has a Toys R Us advertisement at the end), and a promo tape for Donkey Kong Country for the SNES (which, I believe, gives you a small tour through the Nintendo building, and shows the "awesome" technologies they used to make the game.)

I just picked up the Donkey Kong Country one the other day. I've also got the Hot Newz w/DK64 & Jet Force Gemini, Banjo Kazooie, Starfox 64 and I think one for Legend of Zelda, Majoras Mask.

I also have a Making of NFL Blitz promo video. I don't recall which system though.

I have 2 I know i got at least one of them from Nintendo Power Magazine...But the one features Star Fox 64 and one has Killer Instinct (1 or 2 i forget), Yoshis Island hmmm there the only games i remember being on it...But yea i got em'
