Atari Jaguar

I bought an atari jaguar today with 3 controllers and no cords and it doesn't work it powers on but has a blank screen but the controllers do I was wondering how much a broken jaguar's worth?

A broken Jaguar? If I was a betting man, I'd almost be willing to wager that any one of those controllers would be worth more than the broken system. Then again, this is a Jaguar, in all its mysterious obscurity...so I'm thinking probably $15-$20 for the system, and about $15 each for the controllers.

Just so we are clear, do you have a game for the system? Reason I am asking is because the Jaguar has a safety feature built in that if a cart is not inserted into the cart port, it will not turn on. So, if you are trying to power on the system with nothing in it just to see if it does anything, it wont work. If you do not have a game, snag a cheap one and check because you may just get a shock and find out the system indeed works.

Yeah I have a game that's how I know it will power on, I even checked the caps they all seem fine so I don't know what's wrong but its my spare so I will probably sell it then thanks for your reply.

Are you using the correct cords? You mentioned that it didn't come with any.

EDIT: Just read that it's your spare so the cords would be working fine. Nevermind.

Yeah I used the official ones that come with it I suspect the previous owner used the wrong power adapter cause she threw in some random power cord but I am not sure.
